Step-By-Step Instructions
Step 1 WEAR PPE – Wear the proper equipment such as coveralls, gloves, respirators, goggles, face masks or other OSHA approved breathing apparatuses. Step 2 REMOVE – Large deposits of droppings and nesting materials with a brush, scooper or scraper before spraying. Step 3 SOAK – Thoroughly soak the remaining droppings so the enzymes can penetrate the solid waste. Step 4 WAIT 20 MINUTES – This allows the enzyme to work. Time needed will depend on the density and age of the droppings. The older, harder and thicker the mess, the longer it will take to work. Step 5 KEEP WET – Keep the treated material wet during the 20-minute wait. This may require spraying more Dissolve-It to the problem area. Avoid direct sunlight if possible. Step 6 CLEAN UP – When the waste has reached a soft form down to the surface, collect waste with a dustpan or scooper, and be prepared to scrub more if necessary. Minimal scrubbing is the goal. Step 7 MORE TO DO – If droppings remain you may need to apply again. Follow the steps above. Step 8 FINISHING – After the waste is removed, rinse the area with fresh water. A pressure washer may help on large jobs. Spot-clean any tough spots. Step 9 ERASING – To boost the clean-up process, we recommend a spray of diluted bleach. Household bleach diluted with water at a ratio of about 10 parts water to 1 part bleach.
