Brand Story
Why do we use pure copper in our bird bath disks? Because clear, healthy water is vital for birds. The real danger isn’t copper—it’s stagnant water full of algae and bacteria.
At OICEME, we believe nature flourishes when gently cared for. Our Pure Copper Disk reflects our philosophy: a simple, natural way to keep water fresh, support healthy bird life, and bring balance to every garden.
For every bird, a safer sip. For every garden, lasting peace

Will the copper disc turn bird droppings green?
No. Greenish droppings come from what birds eat (like berries or plants) or natural mineral changes. The disc does not affect droppings color.
Is it safe for birds to drink water with a copper disc?
Yes. Pure copper releases trace ions that help reduce algae. Levels are far below anything harmful, and copper has been safely used in bird baths for years.
Why are there teal or green stains around the bath?
That’s natural copper patina, a harmless blue-green layer. It may tint water slightly but isn’t dangerous. Refreshing water keeps baths clean.
