This product is specially formulated for the needs of crested geckos during the breeding and growth phases, according to the latest scientific findings, providing a varied and balanced diet.
NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig has a high calcium content with a special calcium-phosphorus ratio. Growing geckos need a sufficient supply of calcium and phosphorous in the correct ratio, for the proper development of the skeleton and eggshells. Calcium deficiency is often suspected to be the cause of egg failure. This is usually caused by an insufficient calcium supply, often combined with an unfavorable calcium-phosphorus ratio. NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig contains chopped insects, which further increases the acceptance of the food. In order to provide all the essential nutrients, we have formulated NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig from raw materials of various origins: High-protein insect meal from the black soldier fly larvae has an optimal amino acid composition and is ideal for the nutritional requirements of the crested gecko and other fruit eating geckos. The amino acid profile is significantly improved by adding dry egg and brewer’s yeast. By using mealworms, NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig is geared to the natural diet of geckos. Crested geckos ingest essential plant substances and important dietary fibers from the added marigold flowers. Flaxseed and oat bran ensure good digestion thanks to numerous plant nutrients and raw fibers. Our newest addition to the Crested Gecko product assortment, Breed & Growth with Fig contains among other things, bee pollen. Bee pollen promotes vitality and well-being of the gecko, it has a favorable effect on the immune system and blood count. NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig contains two types of algae. Algae are rich in important nutrients, such as vitamins of the B group, iron, iodine and fiber, which have a positive effect on the gecko’s entire body and strengthens their natural defenses. NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig contains 12 vitamins, 9 amino acids and 6 trace elements. The product also has a balanced calcium and phosphorus ratio, which is particularly important for the health of the growing geckos.
How to feed: Mix 1 part of NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig, with 2-3 parts of water (the amount refers to the volume). A smoothie-like porridge is created within about 10 minutes. Geckos are greedy eaters and overfeeding can occur. The feeding does not have to take place daily. It is sufficient to feed your animal two to three times a week.
Storage: NEKTON Crested Gecko Breed & Growth with Fig should be stored dry and out of sunlight, between 59 °F and 77 °F. DO NOT STORE IN THE REFRIGERATOR !!! Keep away from children
