Reptiles are cold-blooded. They rely on sources of heat and humidity that are outside of their own to keep them warm and to maintain the correct body temperature and moisture levels. when kept as a pet, it is up to you as their carer to provide them with the correct levels of humidity-temperature.
Warm Tips: While the reptile thermometer is water-resistant and will work perfectly in high-humidity environments, it is not waterproof. This means If the temperature probe happens to fall into the water, it will likely stop working.
