Our bulbs adopt solid mercury luminescence technology. Solid mercury is a luminescent material. After being powered on, it converts into enough mercury vapor, continuously exciting the phosphor inside the bulb to emit light, thereby achieving that the bulb lights up stably and providing enough UVB.
NOTE: Solid mercury stays stable solid at normal temp. When unpowered, gently shake the bulb, hearing a slight noise or feeling something moving inside is normal, no impact on use. If a slight rattle but no flicker after lighting: works normally. If a loud noise + light flickers: bulb may be broken.

NOTE: Solid mercury is in a stable solid state at normal temperature, so when not powered on, gently shake or tilt the bulb, you will hear a slight noise(the bulb rattles), and feel something moving inside the bulb, this is normal. It does not affect the use of the bulb. If the bulb makes a slight rattling noise, and doesn’t flicker after lighting, the bulb can be used normally. If makes a loud noise, and the light flickers, the bulb may be broken.
‼︎Please remove the blue protective film before use. If the light has been used for some time before removing the film, the silver lining of the reflector will be torn off like this, affecting the use of lighting.
